Piye (c. 780–721 BCE) endures among the great of Kush/Nubia. Kushite king who ruled Egypt as part of the twenty-fifth dynasty. Across the ancient age, this life and its works passed into the shared inheritance of humankind — kept here so the memory is never lost. Honored among the Great Ones of every civilization. Africa is the cradle of humankind; in the deepest sense, these are everyone’s ancestors — and so this name is kept, from the cradle of humanity to all its children.
